The United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Day celebrations mark the federal unification of the seven Emirates on December 2nd, 1971, by the federation’s first president H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may Allah bless his soul).
During these many days of celebration, people can expect to see many decorations roaming the Capital’s streets. From cars decorated with UAE flags, to private homes shining brightly with UAE colored lights, the pride of the country is seen no matter where you look.
The National Day celebrations will spread throughout the towns. A variety of shows and exhibitions will cover the places such as the Zayed Heritage Festival in Abu Dhabi, the Car Parade at Yas Marina Circuit, the National Day Parade in Downtown Dubai, and the Boat Parade in The Dubai Marina. Of course, there will be a schedule of different events hosted by other private organizations and clubs.
The Nation’s 50th “Birthday” is definitely something you don’t want to miss. Celebrate this truly significant and historical day with the Nation by participating in or experiencing a number of fantastic and patriotic events all around the country.
